Oh Steve i forgot the best part of the new zx14 .. It was a built in acujack in the drivers seat ( Automatic masterbater ) and back seat has a clit stimulator for the girl friend ..Now you can get on and get off at the same time ... Them japs are small little guys ..

I guess hyperbikes don't change much as the supersports do i guess. Im used to seeing a new iterations every 2-3 years like Supersports. I wonder when the ZX will get a makeover.

It's a big motor and it has 3 different modes for the 1/4 mile
A) 8.30s
B) 8.0s
C) 7.80s @175mph

I tell you this , it would be smart if they did up the power of the zx14 right now .. Zooky is out of money and would take them a long time to answer to a up graded zx14... If Kawi doesn't jump BMW may ... Kawi if you read this we need 1500 CCs right now , quit fucking around and bust that 200 rwhp HP mark .. Someone is going to do it so it might as well be a kawi ..

I think they could easily extract more power out of existing displacement to out edge the Busa. I mean the Busa is still smaller engine (1340) then the ZX (1352) but yet its faster so there is definitely some engine revamps needed. Id rather see more power out of the same engine then see something like a 1500+cc which is just the easy way out to make more power. Or option B is to rework the aero to gain more efficiency at higher speeds.

The problem is, the majority of zx14.com is the minority demographic of zx14 owners. The zx14 is more comfortable and a little softer then the busa. A lot of ppl buy the zx14 because it's smoother and more comfortable then the busa. I hope they go more towards the zx12, then continue to make a really fast sport tourer.....
My vote would be for...
no banana seat
1500+ cc's
200+ whp
13:1 compression
oil drain plug in the back of the pan
tighter suspension
dunlop roadsmarts
lighter wheels
seems easy enough

It is a comfortable bike indeed. I wanted a comfy and potent cruiser without having to look like a all out tourer like a Concourse so this is where the ZX fits in for me. Personally i don't mind the power its got already, i know you drag racers want more but for what i use it for its more then enough. I just hope it doesnt flop like what happened to Honda's VFR. I really loved the VFR800, but i have no idea what they had did to the VFR1200, i think they fucked up.

I don't understand why Kaw didn't just cut the engine up to 1399cc instead of just over the 1350 mark to consider it a 1400........if you're going to call it a 14, cut it damn near 14........48cc isn't that much more until you DONT do it.

Hey Slvr Bullet, I don't know what Busas are smokin you but that whole "the busa is the faster bike stuff is crap". I've ridden the new ones and raced new ones wit similar mods and haven't bin real disappointed yet. Lack of testicles on ur part ridin the 14 doesn't make it slower. Haaaa; just messin with ya. I do agree with Helmutt though, if your gonna call it a 1400 then make the displacement as such.

+1 I bought my first Kawi back in the day when the 1000r Ninja was kicking butt and then went on to snag a new more powerful Ninja, the ZX11 and it was untouchable for years. Kawi should definitely be first to claim 200hp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you know how I know you're gay? because you would rather have storage than displacement... j/k lol. I do think that kawi should do like suzuki and put an extra gallon of storage. I just want it to be in the cylinders instead of the tail section :P.

The busa is more aerodynamic, that is why they pull away on the top end despite lower hp numbers and smaller displacement. I know my 14 can pull away fairly easy from gen1 models but they will put up a good fight when they have comparable mods. A gen 2 with same mods as me can walk away from my zx above 130mph.
