thanks...for some reason I could not link it. not a computer guy for sure...lol
There are several shots of the bikes from Friday nite and more of the 14. Bike is still slow for some reason..I'm down about 4 mph and 2 tenths. Changed plugs with no change...played with the mapping friday night with no increase either...lost some but put it back. If it's just bad air, I'm surprised a FI bike slowed as much as my old carbed bike did.

WE generally see .01 for every 200ft of altitude increase as a good rule of thumb.

You know the air messes with these FI more than what I thought as well. I've been running about .2 tenths off and down 3mph as well compared to my April numbers.
I think I read somewhere that some other ZX14's are running a tad slower this time of year also. Its normal for my bike... The SS class has slowed down a little from the numbers they were running at the first two events.

Jon, I went Saturday to test and it must be air issues because I was off .15 and mph was about 2.5 off on average. I was hoping it was a clutch problem but the bike's numbers were too consistent.

I expected a little fall off in times/mph, but not this much. I am going to yank the fibers/steels and install a complete new set and see what that does. I'm still learning what the bike is trying to tell me.
Crazy to think that 147mph is feeling "slow". Times have dropped to low 9.4s and it won't 60' like it used to either. I can do 1.57s all day but it just won't pull out of the hole right now. We'll see...just gotta play with it some more.
