Did some searching but can't seem to find anything on a hugger for this bike. Any help?

I wouldn't mind having one without the chainguard, so I can slide it back to fit the tire on a extended bike

I just got one from mcintosh, it was about 180.00 ttd. There is another company in Ga that advertised on dragbike.com that offered them for extended arms. Mcintosh is easier to mount and install, but the other company was about 40.00 cheaper.

Was the Mcintosh unit for SWB or extended? Does it include a chain guard. I've been wanting to add a rear hugger since I got the bike but I have not found one that was at a price I could stomach.

$330 for a CF hugger. Insane.

+1 on Bestem parts. I have a few too. The only CF Bestem parts that needs more R&D is the battery panel cover. No pins on panel to push in frame. Returned it with no problems. And advised them to add the pins like the OEM cover. Ram Air covers look good on black 14 but no clip on end like the OEM. Screws hold it ok but sometimes I hear it buzz. So I added velcro on the underside... problem sloved. Bolt holes on heel guards were a little small, no big deal. Their CF ZX-10 front fender has a flaw in the CF pattern just under the the radius. Noone has noticed it but me :-) the holes on the fender lined up perfect to Lyle's brackets.

FYI, that Bestem hugger fits like shit. The chainguard doesn't even uh, guard the chain, it bows to the left of the sprocket. Its already starting to crack a little by the mounting holes. Its made crooked so your tire looks off centered without squeezing the hugger in on the right side to make it look even. I had a bitch of a time trying to make it look right. Not to mention are worthless mounting bracket for the right side which was a ace hardware straight bracket with no instructions on what to do with it, it literally said ace hardware and had a price tag on it. The bracket looked like crap so i modified it to mount on the inside and bent the bracket into a "S" shape to pull the hugger in a bit (to make it look straight). You cant really see the bracket now since the mods, ill try to take a better picture of it tonight for you guys.

It keeps dirt and shit off my rear shock and to keep from crap collecting on the swing arm where its hard to reach. It also keeps my under tail quite clean, i just wished this piece of crap would fit better.

+1, that's why I would like one. Try letting rubber build up on your tigertail for about 4 months then try and get it off... Talk about a pita

Dusty OSR mounted a hugger (no chain guard) on their ZX-14 race bike. I think it was from a 600 and just black plastic. he screwed it to the top of the swing arm.

No thanks, i wouldn't want to drill any holes in in the swing arm just to install a hugger.

If you put a little wd 40 under your fender it makes it easy to clean.I do like the idea of the shock staying clean with that setup though.

Me personally i was getting tired of wiping the road grime off the shock and the inner swing arm pivot area, its a bitch to clean off. My culdesac driveway is a little sandy and rocky so it collects alot of shit right there. Especially if i drove through muddy puddles (there is a stupid construction site near my house that leaves the street full of muddy water) it would water spot like crazy right there.
