Mcintosh

installing my Mcintosh, the threaded spanner nut isnt going to go inside the swingarm like it does on the stocker, is it supposed to ride up against the new swingarm?

I remember something wierd when I put that nut on. I just went and looked at it but could not tell anything special. There are roughly 6 threads showing and if I remember right the castle nut was flush and had no threads showing on the stock arm. One other thing, are your links adjustable?

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Mickey Thompson makes a 17 " drag slick if traction becomes an issue with the tire that far back wheelie...just loose info....but the tire is available...I use it and it hooks far better than any ultra shinko I have ran (could be too much with no wheelie bar but tire pressure can help control that too) ).....would have to be regeared if used it is a taller tire than a shinko or stock

1.29 60 ft is excellent.....just theory that the farther back the less weight on the tire and could theoretically result in less traction...but I believe this is more of an effect with a solid strut in the rear.....you run a monoshock so it may not be an issue....as long as your are satisfied with your 60 ft...

you will know where you are at and what at to do when you try your present set up...just a heads up options are available with a Mickey thompson that hooks more than a round profile tire...and the compound is better for dragracing I believe also....thats all....
