Tank cover fitment problem
As the title says I'm having issues with one of the sides popping out and not staying in the grommet at the top. Any ideas on how to fix this? It is nothing major but the gap is just driving me crazy!!

make sure you have the little tabs fitted/inserted properly, it'll cause it to not fit properly.

Yeah. I think I tried switching it to the one from the other side but if I did it didn't work. Guess I can buy some new ones and try that next.

I replace the well nuts everytime I am down there because I learned my lesson the hard way when I had two well nuts rip and fall into the air box on two seperate occasions. Its a shitty design all together, Kaw really could have done something better on that design!

I replaced my well nuts with rivenuts. Works great, no welding. Down side is the rivenut that fits is 8mm.
