It could have been my imagination...but

I swear when taking my 95 mile trip from one residence to my hometown, every now and again i swear i seen my speedometer needle just drop all of a sudden while cruising 70-75mph. and then return back to normal. As some of you have read on my earlier posts ive been having some cluster issues. Curious is this all leads back to that damn Bonneville box.

Anyone else seen that happen on these bikes?? I could be due for an eye appointment as well lol

+1 but most were bad ground. Another person posted the Muzzy box did the same thng. Sometimes speedo needle would go up and down then be OK??? Several others posted No problems with the Bonneville Box. Check all the hook up wires and ground wires.

I have that same problem with my Bonneville Pro. It doesn't have a ground wire, just a two connectors that go between the Speed Sensor and the ECU and you splice into one wire that goes from the ECU to the Speedometer.

It may be a general ground problem, but I haven't had any other issues and didn't have this issue until after I put on the Bonnevile Pro.

Check general ground to cluster. And check pins on plug and play. Almost two years with Speedo healer and no problems. Changed gearing 3 times now. :-)
