I prefer not to listen to music while riding. I like being able to hear my surroundings, i just dont want to be "that guy" who gets t boned by a ambulance, police or fire truck. In california its illegal to listen to music with headphones while driving in a car, i don't see how it would differ on a bike IMO.

Actually in California you can have headphones while riding bike, but just in one ear. I ride with both all the time and have been pulled over for other things and never has a state trooper or highway patrol said anything about my earphones.

AC/ DC , Pantera , or Bob Seger ,unless I'm on my cruiser then it's Waylon, Willie , Johnny Cash, or David Allen Coe ! I'm Kinda like Jekyl & Hyde on the music thing!

I enjoy music enough that I write part-time.......but as for riding and listening, don't do it that often. It can really affect your behavior as far as riding harder and faster than you should at times........music is like a drug sometimes.........can make us feel almost bulletproof

HP is the "Drug" I am not a fan of Good Tunes in a helmet....Ride don't set on it.
I have a pair good speakers and mic for GMRS,Bluetooth, GPS and radar when on trips.
Most FM's in past sucked. And I have Always had loud 4/1 or straight pipes.... so all are
worthless at 70. I am sure the Led Zeplin concerts back in day did not help :-)
