If you lower your 14 Shane661 has flat allen drive oil drain bolts and he grinds off fins that protect the hex . You will gain ground clearence. PM Shane. Stock new washers with Shanes plug. I reused mine. No leaks.

No problems with mine just running the factory Kawi oil with factory filter. I'm wondering if I should switch mine to synthetic also.

I assume you don't drag race the bike, but I wouldn't use that crap! I got 47 passes out of my bike with about 1000 easy miles and burnt the clutch up, drained the oil the next day and it was almost as thin as water. No way would I use anything but synthetic.
Someone else stated they wouldn't benefit from synthetic because they change it so often, I disagree. No matter how often synthetic protects better, period! It dosent break down as fast and holds up better all the way around.

I think I'm gonna try Amsoil 10w 40. Its only seen the track twice. No problems yet but I don't wanna push it. Litttle over 10,000 miles so I think the next change which I'm gonna do soon will get the Amsoil.
