Post up your States best riding area's!

Not sure if there's other threads with the same content, but I'd like a refresher if that's ok.

Another riding season is upon us......well, most of us .......I'm sure there's good riding to be had most everywhere so please post up your favorite destinations / area's of interest for us all to see and check out in your home state!

I live in western Ohio, but most of the better riding ( that I know of anyway ) is in southern and eastern Ohio........one of my personal favorites is Hocking Hills area just south of Lancaster on RT33. St Rt 664 / Rt. 374 / Rt. 180 -- basically all over Hocking Valley. Nice twisty hills and valleys, tree canopied back roads and the asphalt was FRESH a couple years back when we last rode there.

Right out my backdoor is the Hamilton Pool Rd/ Fitzhugh Rd/ RR12 area that runs around Dripping Springs/Johnson City/Wimberly west of Austin Texas. Nice twisty roads in the beautiful hill country. However, many consider the "Twisted Sisters" or "Three Sisters" in the Leakey/Kerrville area to be the best twisty riding in Texas. Hwys 335, 336, and 337. Got to be careful though, lots of injuries and deaths, including the loss of a buddy of mine not too long ago.

Californias hwy 1 is the best we have hands down. Or any road in Norcal.
Local stuff for me is GMR(Glendora Mountain road), Hwy 33 or Lake huges rd and the surrounding roads like spunky to little tujunga .

Last year I went to Laguna Seca for the MotoGP. We stayed in Cupertino. There was a road from there up over a mountain and down into Big Basin. Phenomenal. Back and forth, up and down, all forest...I'm driving this little rent-a-car, and all I could think was I wanted to rent a 600 and come right back.

Some of my favorites here in the Pacific Northwest include North Cascade Highway which is an east/ west route through the Cascade Mountains. Great for technical twisties, Diablo Dam, high speed sweepers. Great scenery. Waterfalls near the road for cooling off. Highway 2, also an east west. Mountains and desert all the way across the state.
FS25 mid state at Mt St Helens, off highway 12, is my favorite. tight corners, straights, scenery. A perch to look into the volcano crater. Mostly bike traffic. ( still closed boo hiss).
All woodsy, curvy, insane tire assaulting terrain.
Oregon Coast Highway is the duck's nuts, although heavy traffic from tourist season plugs it up.
to name a few....

Have agreat run up b y Center Hill Dam that puts you out by the Canny Fork River that's a great ride and the view is great. Tennessee has lots of curves every where.
