Some @ss hole cut my valve stem, time for a beatdown.
I passed this guy, in a legal zone, I had been behind him for about 5 miles until I was able to LEGALLY pass him. I could have passed him before but a lot of traffic was on this 2 lane. Anyway I think I scared the shit out of him, my cut down tuskigi was barking when I passed him, probably about 10k rpms. Anyway i pulled into the gas station about 5 miles up the road. I noticed when I was inside that he had pulled in. Anyway when I left the gas station I knew something was wrong with the bike. Pulled over, flat tire. Looked and looked, no noticable hole. the station was closed, no cell service, no houses, no options. I live in central pa by the way, raystown lake. Any way I rode the thing home on the flat tire 30 miles. I stopped and checked the tire every now and then and let me tell ya that bitch was hotter than hell. I got home and check the tire and noticed the valve stem was sliced almost in half. The funny thing was I check it but it was almost dark. I remember the guys plate because it is a funny ass vanity plate. Now not saying it was him but its awful fishy. I will post pictures. By the way I did not damage my rim, tire stayed on the bead, made sure to go slow and hit nothing. I will update you later. I have a friend at the state police he is going to run the plate for me. Must have been wheelies new map that pissed him off.

That sucks for sure...
If you're certain it was the person in that car the find out where they live and take all the wheel nuts completely off of his car. When they tries to move he won't get far.

Cant plug a valve stem. Your fckt. Have to take tire off rims, what a pain in the ass.

If you're certain that guy is the culprit, then a beatdown is most appropriate. I would be going effing medieval on someone who tampered with my bike.

I've always aNted to video taking someones lug nuts off and see how far they go, that would be funny, especially after they done something like that

I had a rear valve stem start leaking on my 14 last summer far from home in houston on a sunday night. At first I thought somone cut it at a bar I was at, but upon closer inspection I was shocked to discover that it was not cut but that it had been re-used by the shop I had used to have my tire changed! The place was called cyclegear, I had asked them to not pull out the valve stem out in fear of them chipping the powder coating and to just remove the valve core instead.
Turns out they just pull the whole thing out, and re installed it. This cracked the valve stem badly from streching which led to the failure. Long story short I took the bike to Mancuso kaw/ dealer to have the valve stem replaced A few days later. While sitting in the waiting room wondering what the commotion was around my bike when the serv manager came in and told me they had broke my wheel!!! I about lost it! They took a new wheel off another 14 that was in there shop to put on mine as a loaner. They were going to have my wheel repaired and powdercoated. I never came back, just took the loaner wheel to my powdercoater who after hereing my story only charged me 30.00 to powercoat the wheel.

GO GET HIM… I would put the lug nuts up on the wall of my garage (should make for a great conversation starter for years to come).

What a low life if that was him. It sounds like it could have been him just because of the circumstances.
Find out what his address is and put the valve stem in an envelope and put it in his mail box . Leave a message in there to call you and see what happens.
That's something I would think of doing.
Or if you're sure it's him then remove all his valve stems .

Yeah thats bad, a lot of cages take it personal when you pass them for some reason. I've been swerved at, yelled at, leered at, and given the finger all simply for passing. On the other hand, he could have done worse and cut your sidewall or something even more criminal.

I wonder if the gas station would have it on tape? That's if they've got video camera's and they haven't recorded over it........may be an option to try to nail down the bastard that did it -- have your state trooper buddy take you over there and see if they can help ya out
