brake problem

What you thinks going on with this? changed tire out for a buddy. now got a problem with brakes. Seems that if you roll bike 2 feet it doesnt have brakes. Pump lever 1 time it has brakes. roll a couple feet more no brakes. it always needs 1 pump b4 brakes come back. Reservoir is full. we only took the callipers off to get wheel off. thanks b4 hand .

The small port at the master cylinder might have a spec of trash in it.

the front or rear? i can say mine did the same thing somewhat after putting it back together this winter. My front wheel anyways..it eventually went away. not sure what caused it either

Possible that the rotor got bent during the tire change.

Definitely sounds like a bent rotor. When the rotor spins around it is pushing the pads apart. I bent one on my 12R and it acted this way, and I have seen others have the same issue.

I hate when a weel comes back from a tire changer and the rotors are bent.
It doesn't take much to tweak a rotor.

The way to check that is to not move the bike at all and pull the lever. If it only does it when the bike moves then these guys are right, a bent rotor.
