quote: Make sure your battery voltage is up around 12.8 to 13 or so! If voltage was low when you first tried to start , and it failed , you fouled the plugs. These bikes don't crank on a low battery ! Charge the battery , and replace the plugs, and it'll crank !
battery was kind of low at time I tried to start it ,after first attempt to start bike the starter just clicked.hope it's just clicked.hope its just the plugs.

quote: If fuel doesn't come out when the fuel line is removed you may have an obstruction in the fuel pump as noted above.
Back to basics:
Fuel
Fire
Air.
Be CAREFUL when check if the plug sparks. Use a jumper and ground the plug to the engine block. When you engage the starter do you see a nice fat blue spark? Check all plugs.
With the gas tank tilted open the inspection plates. When you engage the starter do you see the injectors spraying?
If the plugs are black or very dark you may have an obstruction in the intake.
I drain my gas tank very often and when I pull the fuel hose off gas does not come out. I use the key to turn the pump on to drain the fuel. I would pull the line and turn the key to the on position, fuel should then come out rapidly for roughly 3 seconds. Don't worry the pump will shut off like I said in 3 seconds. Don't over think it man, it is probably something simple. Sounds like you are not getting spark though becasue it should have started with ether. Pull a plug and leave it attached to the coil and as you bump the starter button it should spark.

the plugs are gonna be a pain. Not much space between frame and engine. Not like my zrx 1200,ltd,z1-900, ect.

Back to the battery, is it holding a charge? If relay is clicking battery is low. Does dash reset when trying to start? Bike won't start if voltage is down, ecu needs power to function.

Good point. Skip the "pee test" and have a look at the injectors to see if they are spraying when cranking.

Anything is possible but I don't think that happened . Unless the the CCT was already faulty and allowing the chain to have too much play.
Plust the sound of the engine cranking would have changed from it's normal sound cause the valve timing is off.

Have you been smelling raw fuel fumes coming out the exhaust after all that cranking?
Have you pulled a plug to check for spark?

Smokin had a problem like yours I think. His bike stalled and wouldn't run .Turned out to be a connector under the left ram air cover didn't lock together . He used zip ties to secure the connector and didn't have that problem.

Get a test light . Hook one end to a good ground like the battery ground under the right forman grill.
With the ignition switch on and the kill switch set to run, check each circuit in the fuse panel for juice. Check both sides of each fuse.
There should be power in all circuits.

Not smelling fuel with all that cranking doesn't sound right either.

I didn't see you post if you heard the fuel pump turn on when you turn the ignition switch to the on position.
