valve question

HI,on my 06 owner manuel i have to look at the valve clearence at 45000 KM,on my 09 it is 25000 KM.is there a difference between these 2 motor.i only street riding and not to hard on the bike.i am near 25000 KM on the bike do you think i need to have the dealer look at the valve clearence now.thank

For all I know, they cheap'd out on the materials. Gave the lower service interval number. Either that, or the performance part of it is more labor intensive meaning to keep the performance at peak standards you check more. Same goes for the spark plugs, where you could get twice the service if not triple the service out of a plug following their intervals.
