Chain slack?
What kind of slack should I have in my chain at about 7 inches over? Is the purpose of chain slack to make sure there is enough chain slack for when the swingarm is perfectly flat (parallel with the ground)?

Did you look at the tool that aligns the sprockets?? Or the chains and extoic alloy steel sprockets in any size.

Many people have different opinions on chain tension. I run my chain SUPER tight just simply due to the fact my bike squats 4 inches when I launch. The chain loses alot of tension when you are under power. One other reason I run it tight is that I feel it gets the power down to the wheel that much quicker. WIth a loose chain it seems to me that it only puts power down once all the slack is out. Take a look at some pictures of how much chain slack people have while under power it is almost disturbing. Loose chains fly off!!!!
