Cycle Logic lock up testing

Well, after many conversations with many different people about a single stage lock up improving 60ft times here are the results. This lock up absolutley helps with 60ft times. I can literally throw the clutch off the line and let it do its job. I have made 8 passes with it and only 2 have been in the 1.400 60ft times twice.
I am VERY pleased with the results.

The lock ups do work.

On the dyno the stock clutch wouldnt hold 300 hp . . . . . Lock up =

With the CL lockup you can ride it jsut like a normal bike. You will not feel a difference on the street at all.

There is no adjustment on this lock up as it comes from CL. Others have modified it and tried different things but I say why with these results. It is a very simple installation and setup. I really made no riding style adjustment other than the fact that I can get the clutch out faster now.

Weight, gearing, wheelbase, clutch springs, mods?

I really don't know so can you explain how a single stage lock up helps 60ft? I thought to help 60 ft you needed a slider to throw the lever out.

I will try to explain how I think it helped me. When tossing the clutch out before the lock up I always seemed to have very inconsistant 60ft times. It was hit or miss on finding the sweet spot where I allowed the clutch to be all the way out. I go WOT when the light turns green and now it seems that there is no more clutch slip once I get the clutch out just a hair. The engine actually sounds like it is turing lower RPMs before the 330' now I assume that its the pressure being applied to the clutch. It seems that it really took out any user error on my part and just does its job of biting. I am sure opinions will vary but I am a straight shooter and I have done nothing else different. My ET's are dead on consistant too.

depends on gearing, clutch springs, weight ect ect ect. you can use a single stage like a slider if you have everything set up right, but a multi is better
