ZX-14 is the slower bike
I can go to the CBR-1000 site and see the 14 losing over and over to a CBR, V-Max site? yep loser there too, R-1 yet again the 14 is slower, Gixxer will beat it! why cant I get a race at the track with one of these faster bikes?

Any year Booza will beat it too.

Here's what I can say :
When Steve and I went up to the Mojave Mile my first race was against an 08 Buza.
Im riding an 06 ZX-14 with a Brock alien head and a brock map - everything else stock.
08 Buza was piped, mapped, after market wheels and who knows what else.
Now this was a flying mile from a 30 mph roll ...... the 14 covered the Buza all the
way from the bottom to the top ! So is the 14 "really" slower - I guess it just depends
what site your logged on to.

I'm having a rundown with two of them on Apr 26 at Loudon NH- one is fully race prepped
and the other is in complete stock/ street trim. I'm curious how they will match against the smaller cc bikes and liters on the really tight course- we are bringing both 750 and 1000 track gixxers.
A local BMW dealer dished out big $$$ to have a few of their bikes run as "official" vehicles for a couple of the local track riding schools and I know for a fact people really want to run against them.

Won't surprise me if it does....maybe not at the dragstrip in stock trim...but the BMW is for real. It just upped the ante for every liter bike out there....read the British mags and the reviews of it...they tell it like it is and it's everything BMW is saying about it and more.
I'm sure BROCK appreciates all your free advertising you are giving him. Nice job helping him out so much.

he's got a long ways to go because it came in dead last in qualifying at the last race and then i think it broke and couldn't make the 1st round run ..

BMW S1000RR 1/4 Mile times?
Just lowered and it is the CHEAP model! Think of what the one with bells and whistles will do - maybe 8.80's at 165 stock wheelbase?

Anybody seen www.forumwars.tv? Saw the ad for it watching SBK the other day on Speed. They pit cars from rival forums against each other in a drag race and a road race. Ep #1 pits a mustang against a guy from 350Z.com. Could be some real fun possibilities for bike forums!

meh, i heard them Starbucks racers all the time how fast their bike was compared to mine. I used to get trash talk from them Ducati riders at the meets and when we had a group ride one time he couldn't shake my 750 in GMR. It depends on the rider i guess. In the same sense i got my ass handed by a girl on a Triumph Tiger 1050 while i was at GMR with the ZX14.

I have heard there is a couple of old boys on Goldwings that will hand you your rear pretty good down at the dragon. These bikes are over engineered for the average rider and have been for quite some time. Heck, I have a 2000 ZRX that has more than I am willing to put to it in the turns. Sure is fun though!

I saw that video on youtube with the goldwings knee dragging man those guys are insane. All you see is sparks flying like crazy from them scraping the under carriage.
