ZX-14 Fuel pump wire color & location
I am trying to install and anti-hijacking senor on my zx14 as part of the alarm system.
Does any one the location and color the wires which goes to the fuel pump? I need to break the positive wire and install a relay in-line so the alarm can kill the fuel pump if the alarm is activated.

its one of the 2 plugs at the back of the tank by the cap vent hose .. i just don't remember which one i had to tie into it to run an evac pump

its the 1 with the 3 wires and its the black with yellow strip

Do I have to remove the fuel tank to get to the plug that house the black wire with yellow strip?

No.
Seat off, back of tank, find the two wire connector. Wire with the black/yellow is ground. Use white/red which is hot to the relay. The three wire connector is for the gas gauge, ECU, etc.

i went and look at the fuel pump itself . the 3 wire plug is hook to it on this pump .. the black and yellow stripe wire hooks to the blue wire inside to the pump . the red stripe wire hooks to the low fuel light .. and the black and white stripe hook to ground ..
