flies removed mapping
I would love to have a map from PowerCommander for my 08 with flies removed and single pipe exaust. There must be others who did not buy a Brocks exaust who would also love to have one as well. Tuning centers are too much money and pretty far for me.
Mabey a little email pressure to PC would help push them to get er dun?

map sources, not all are equall
Knydecker the maps from Dynojet are FAR from optimum compared to Brocks,Muzzy etc. My 1st map was the dynojet and it left much to be desired for smoothness and power. It was just a starter map is what I guess I am saying to you. The fine folks a Muzzy have several no flies maps that they will e-mail you at no cost that are a HUGE improvement over Dynojet's. Hope this steers you in the right direction.

I have a Brocks pipe, flies out, 2007 zx14, k&n filter I had customed dynotuned at cyclewerkz here in Ft. Worth Tx. I could email you the map if you'd like. I can't give you any of my Brock's maps but I'd be willing to share the map I had made at cyclewerkz. Nothing against Brocks maps but my custom map worked better for me. The Brocks map was damn close though.

Hey, Oilfield your custom map worked better for you. What exaclty does that mean? Since you have never hit the track did you try on the street?

It worked better for me as it put up better numbers throughout the rpm range in horsepower and torque on the dyno. As far as riding on the street it was insanely fast with the Brocks map and continues to be insanely fast with my custom map. I'm sure a drag racer could pinpoint slight improvements much better than I could. I love my bike and while the Brock's map got me 98% of the way there by custom dynotuning my bike I know I'm getting the full 110%.

Is anyone living in Las Vegas with a 2008 no flies, single can exaust? Chris from Power Commander would like your bike to make a map for us.
ZX, I will check them out tonite.
Thanks all. I feel I am getting closer to closing this long chapter for me. (hopefully before summer!)

I found the "Jeffo" web page ( http://www.faic.cc/index1.html ) and placed a direct inquire to them. From what I read, I could be very happy spending the 50 bucks.
My bike is smooth and fast but somtimes I just want to make sure it cant get any smoother or FASTER!
I will keep yall posted...

I just hit the "Pay" button after I got my phone call from them. The guy knew seems to know my ZX14 better than most!
He gave me a bunch of great info to do on my bike.
Cant wait to try it out... as well as his ideas.

I did a google on him and only found people who were happy with his services. When you talk to him on the phone, you will notice his knowledge is great.
For the 50 bucks, I am curious and will let everyone know how it went.
By the way, his maps are based on more than parts removed or added. He wants to know specifics like alt, ave temp riding, sprocket setup or size and type of riding.

Got the map today and decided to install with the FULL instructions. A lot to do and change. No just adding a MAP.
Unfortunately its raining and snowing at the same time! Cant take the bike for a quick ride. But I did notice the quicker throttle responce and not poping!
I cant wait to take it for a spin!!
Toodles...I will let you guys know how it rides when its dry.

Same here, I'd be interested to know if it runs better throughout the rev range. The map I'm running now seems overly rich, I avg. 30mpg or less with city driving. It runs great but my mileage sucks.

Well, it was cold today (38 degrees) but Iwas dry enough to dry the roads for now. I decided to take the bike for a quick spin after installing the zx10 fender (not very easy as I thought).
I only rode for a mile or two and under 50 MPH (Too cold for me). I thought the low end before was pretty good (no flies) but I did notice a difference as it was smoother and more low end tork at around 3000. I opened it up and it just seemed smoother not really faster.
The real test will be when it gets warmer (hopefully one month) and I get it on the open highway!
