will 14 body work fit a connie? Imagine a turbo connie dusting busa's and such ...LMAO

HA! fun to come on this. I have a turbo connie that I'm shopping around for turbo pistons right now.
Yes, the Connie pistons should drop in. The rods, crank, and head gasket are the same part number (for the 09 make/models). HOWEVER, the OEM connie pistons are (or can be) .0004" larger than the zx14 pistons, and Kawi calls for ~.010" tighter piston-to-cylinder clearance. Otherwise all the specs are identical. Is a potential .0004" bigger a problem? Probably not if it still falls in the factory clearance range.
What I'm trying to figure out now: is the combustion chamber volume the same on both the 14 and the connie? I think it is, but I don't have a zx14 head to check mine against right now. The 10.7:1 advertised compression ratio should all be in the piston, but without a cc number from the zx14 head I couldn't tell for certain.
All that said, the stock connie piston/ring gap combo might not be appropriate for prolonged high boost applications......
