Msd shiftlight install
I'm hooking up a msd shiftlight from Shane tomorrow, and does anyone know of which color the positive coil wire is? Does it matter Which one I hook it to? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If I mounted it on top of the guages between the windshield, what would be a good way to stick it to the guages so I didn't drill holes in it?

velcro maybe? That is a low pressure area so it's not like it's going to be getting blown around.

Pazx how did you mount that? That's a good idea to have it mounted on the side so you can get to the buttons

I just drilled two holes in the ram air tube cover for the bracket then took a hot soldering iron and melted a hole for the cable and while it was still gooey i pushed the wire down through for a nice tight seal. I will say being its over to the left it is more difficult to see during the day. I race most friday nites so its not much of a problem for me. putting it where i did does give you nice access to the buttons as you said.

Just a note on the hookup to the coil...your gonna have to use the pickup that came with it and loop the coil wire through the tang on the end of it to pick up the signal and gets set up through the shift light as a 1 clynder operation. hope that helps Eclipse
