i thinks so i think they are lean in stock form untill you get on top end

I read somewhere the later models 08+ run richer so it doesn't disintegrate/overheat the third cat.

Popping on the over-run is usually a sign that the mixture is wrong, or that there's an air-leak in the exhaust system somewhere.

I haven't had popping or crackle on the over-run, but I did recently find all my header nuts were loose.

LOVE THAT POP! It is true....at night you get a little blue flame come out the exhaust. You can time it right and do it when you want...I would not want this OPTION/LUXURY to go away....it's really kind'a'cool!

I use the decel pop to scare off the wild life. Not sure if it works but if I'm haulin like to keep the revs up gas on then off for a little pop.

I can make mine pop... my flame is blue because off the 110 octane! On decel fron 90 or 100, partially closed throttle and down shift ting to 3rd gear she will light the fire and hold for 3 to 6 seconds(fire outta the pipe).

Darn I forgot to add....the flame is yellow/orange when I use straight 93 pump gas.
