KRIEGA PRODUCTS
Kriega Product Review
I placed my order Sunday night and by Monday afternoon I had UPS tracking information emailed to me. From http://www.kriega.us/ its .us not .com. The products were well packaged and arrived on time. I purchased the following products…Tank ($35 usd), US 5 ($47 usd), and the US 10 ($66 usd). The US 5 and 10 have some nice features…

Both have white removable liners…

A rubber coated mesh pocket on the reverse or bottom side…

And a top pocket with a waterproof zipper…

The Tank Mount attaches to the bike via straps. The kit came with two short straps with loops on the end that for the 14 had to be looped together and run through the steering head. I didn’t like looping the two together so I used a single piece of nylon webbing…

The two straps by the seat are velcro’ed into place. The straps are stiff and stay in place quite well if left unattached to the tank mount…

Here it is again with the mount attached…

The US 5 attaches to the tank mount with straps and make for a small clean tank bag. It’s large enough to hold a thinner sweatshirt (or my jacket liner) with the usual things e.g., house keys, wallet, phone, etc. This will be my default tank bag.

I purchased the US 10 for when I may need more capacity in a tag bag but it also attaches nicely to the pillion area of the seat. The straps go under the seat with plenty of length to buckle the US 10 securely down. In this photo I have a pair of size 12 shoes, and a sweatshirt inside the bag and there is still more room to be had. There is certainly enough room for an overnighter and possibly two nights if you pack well…

Overall I am impressed with the quality and fit and finish of these Kriega products…
