Down goes Swine Flu. I think I am done!
OMG I have had it. Swine Flu almost had me in tears yesterday and I am not kidding. It was an outstanding pass. She came up and held it past the 60ft mark. Stayed straight and floated through the traps like butter. Then I hit the return road and It sounds as if one of the plugs filed down. I gave it a little gas and I heard a tapping noise. Then I shut it down. Looked at my slip and the pass was....
1.32 60ft
3.6xxx 330
5.51 E.t
125 MPH
I was stoked but wanted to kick the bike. This is the 4th motor now. I think it will be the last. I will put anotherone in it and sell the bike. Next up, 1 of 3. Either a zx10, a hayabusa or a 1000. I am washing my hands unless this ends up being an easy fix and it will be fixed and sold.

Hate to hear that man. If you do sell it let me know about the lock up. Hopefuly it will be a easy fix..

I just have to ask...do you think it could be anything with your setup?? I mean, 4 motors??
Any special oil pan, pick up, or anything like that?

That's what I was thinking you can't spray that much and not expect to hurt stock motors pass after pass. that's why I index and bracket race. Just not interested in spending tons of money on racing anymore

I don't think its the motors? You can only spray an 80 shot on a stocker for so long.

Stock pan has been modded for drain plug to be in the rear and a shortened oil pick-up.

I am not spraying an 80 shot. Only a 50. I would not go that big because I do not have anything to take out timing as of now. Also I have only been spraying 50 for about 2 weeks with maybe 12 passes. If that many. I was only spraying an 18 pill at first but stepped up when I seen how outpowered I was for that hand clutch class!

Yeap I sprayed. been having MPH issues with this bike! Sprayed it out the hole!

Yep a 50 shot should have gotten you better than a 5.51 and 125mph. NOS is very unforgiving if you do not have the bike tuned right for it. You should be pulling at least 2* timing, running perferably higher than 93 octane and tuned at 12.5 AF at the leanest.

Hey nightmare, the way you are carrying the wheel , maybe she got starved for oil? You're not by any chance running zero weight oil are you? Surely your wrench pulled the tube off before putting the short pan on? Oh , and I saw a Busa that sprays a small shot chunk a rod through the block last week! Funny thing was his jockey never got close to runnng 5.s ! Don't give up on the faster bike , just nail the problem down before you go kill em again!

We either run MRX01 or Q16. Still running the stock fuel pump and the tube was pulled once the pan was changed.

Have you been running a flashed ECU on these motors? Low mph sounds like the clutch givin up on the big end , then the other question is , stock valve springs?

My ECU has not been flashed and yes it has stock valve springs but only in this one. Not the other motors. MPH is not the clutch. the MTC multi stage is doing everything it is suppose to be doing. Everyhting on the motor is stock with the excetion of the lock-up

I honestly am not trying to be rude but has the same person built all 4 motors? I just don't see you grenading 4 motors unless something is not right, I mean if it were me I would have tried a different builder after the second one or tried a different NOS setup. You said you were spraying off the line, are you running a progressive box?
