07 ZX14 Power Commander mounting

Were is the best spot to mount a power commander on a 2007 ZX14?

Under the seat if your going to be changing maps alot. Tedious job to instal there.
Left ram air tube is easy.
Run a good earth to the battery as lots have earthing problems.

left ram tube is the easiest place. even if you have to access it frequently you just open the left cover 3 screws. I have the dynojet lcd so i can change maps anytime with no pc.

under the seat. I've done both and under the seat is best. You can ground it directly to the battery without lengthening the ground wire.

Mine was under the left side intake cover, but I moved it to fit under the seat. MUCH easier access to it now. Plan on an afternoon to do it and take your time to route all your wiring properly.

+3 on under the seat! I wish I would have taken pics when I ran the wires... If I remember correctly there's only one way to run it. It's worth the time!

under the seat is the best and with the autotune its eZ to run the wire but under the ram air tube is a good place it would be nice to have a waterproof usb connecter to mount on the plastic of the bike for ez pluging

I had mine on the ram air tube but moved it under the seat along with the speedohealer.+4 on the under seat, take the time to put it under the seat.

Leave it up front and run a usb cable to the rear.

buy a speed cell battery or one off lyle and mount it in where you battery is.the wiring runs over top the motor and if you take the battery cover and cut the top off it you can pull the cover off with removing anything else. easy fit and you have removed over 10lbs of weight.
