MPS Compressor
I know the ram and solenoid they sell can be purchased at Grainger, anyone know if the compressor can be bought at Grainger? got a part number?

Unless it comes with a hose easily hooked to the regular air line I wouldn't do it. The air lines that come on the Wal mart and Autozone ones are soft rubber and will not hold 130 psi long. I went through 3 of them before purchasing a mps compressor

You can usually unscrew the fitting on the compressor from Advance Auto Parts by heating it to loosen the Loctite. Then you can put an 1/8th inch adapter in it.

I'd still reccomend the mps compressor, so much easier.

Walmat 9 bucks ... Gut it and remove the hose that came with it ... Use a piece of the same type hard line that is used to power the ram ... Hook the hard line to the barb of the walmat compresser and run it to the air tank ... Done ..

If you take the MPS pump apart is the same junk as the walmat pump .. No need to pay big bucks for a cheap pump ..

harbor freight 7 bucks a piece. usually lasts me 3 months or longer with my 9oz bottle used for an air taink. I buy them in pairs

what do you do when your at Abigail event and the compressor goes? Your waiting in line to run? That sucks...
Sorry guys I just didn't have good luck with the cheap compressor. One did actually blow, and since I got the mpg, not one problem has been had.
