Extra cooling fan install

Hey fellas I'm trying to install an additional fan that I got from hpc awhile ago. Just curious what you guys used or how you mounted them on the radiator. Little mounting tabs and these little zippy ties were provided.

They run straight thru the radiator, line up the holes with the thin coils and push thru. I didnt use the slide on clips like the directions said, I just trimmed the head of the clips to fit flush on the fan. I also had to buy a pack of the retaines, because the ones I got with the fan didnt hold well and two of them broke very easily.

also make sure the stock fan can rotate fully with the new fan installed. i got the new one a little too close and it wouldnt allow the stocker to spin... that was great.

Oh sh*t I didn't even think to check that...I hope I didn't do that. I was just a bit scared to poke holes into my radiator. That just aint right!!

I was just under all the fairings last weekend.. now I wish I would have snapped a few pics of my 2nd fan brackets for you. The very top and bottom of the radiator is a channel that's flat. I cleaned that out and epoxied my brackets to sit there. I wouldn't want zip ties or fan sitting on the radiator. bumps and wheelies might wear holes in the finned area. Alot of help I am...I know..no pics

yeah i thought about that too woppi. i just didnt think about it for some reason, my brain was fried after all the wiring i did on it these past few days. i just didnt want to poke holes in my radiator, but i ended up going for broke and wiring the extra fan in.

Is there a way to just use the concourse 14 setup? I see it has 1 big fan and 1 little one, can they be bolted right up or are they using some specific radiator? I want to add a second fan without ghetto rigging it.
