Had a great time yesterday

Kawasakijockey, my buddy Tom and I went to Pine Valley raceway (Diboll, TX) yesterday. There was about 25 bikes or so...lots of action.

All three of us ran new personal best times. I ran a 9.19 @ 151 / 5.98 @ 123 eighth mile. I also got a 1.53 60' but threw it away with a missed shift...would have been a low teens pass.

Great to get back to the track again.

Good times quarterpounder for stock wheelbase. I will be shooting for 9.20's swb this year myself.

I'll trade for gloss black or green in a heartbeat. I don't like the flat finish at all.

Thanks.
When you get down this way, you'll be much happier with the power. You'll get there, just gotta figure out how.

Not at swb and my weight! lo I have to starve myself to hit 195 in gym shorts. I will get my 8 second slip this year on my buddys bike you can take that to the bank.

SWB is all about the set up and skills. Much easier to be quick extended...I'm pretty sure I'd be in the 8s if I was extended. I've the mph and I know I can get into the 1.3s short time with it longer

Ya I knew it was you! I was off most of the boards for awhile just poping in here and there. You know I've been 5.90's in the 1/4 in a car but still want an 8 sec time slip from a bike! LOL it's driving me crazy. and I don't want to stretch this bike.

You are correct QP. I used to run a SWB 600 in prostar back in 02 and it was a blast to ride.

I'm pretty sure I can get it done on his bike, it's 64 inchesand he cut about 30 lbs off of it over the winter and has a 40 shot on it so I think a 8.80 is in the cards at my weight and skill. I went 9.17 on his bike last year on motor and the bike with the 30lbs still on it.
