Just thought I would pass along a couple of great deals on tires. Compacc.com has Pirelli Angels front and rear for 229.00 shipped and Michelin Pilot 2CT for $240 shipped front and rear. Great deals there!

Motorcycle Superstore has the same deal on the PP2CT's ok not quite $241 shipped. I ordered a pair the other day and DO NOT like how they handled the sale. Double pre-authorized my debit card and shipped the tires seperately even though both were in stock...so they said. I will try Compacc.com next set of tires!

Im sure you wont even notice the difference in profile if your talking about putting the 55 series on your Concours steve.

I think I would, the difference is profond on the litre leaner and 600. turns in much quicker, and 55 is so much higher I set the suspensions over it.

only drawback being the middle wears out a little quicker.

the tires that came on this concours suck so bad, I didn't know hey make tires like this for bikes. borderline dangerous when turning the bike. I need to do something quickly.

I have to recant on my disgust a little. Upon seeing the tires where shipping seperately I called customer service and spoke with an intelligent, polite, and knowledgable person who didn't lie about ship dates and explained everything clearly and to my satisfaction. Per their shipping dates the tires arrived on time and in good condition. So despite the double authorization I have to recommend Motorcycle Superstore.

On a side note per the tire safety thread...these tires where manufactured in the 42 week of 2009.

MC Superstore was a no go... stuck to 'policy' that you must ask before the sale. I guess a few bucks in the hand are more valuable then more bucks in the future. Better a happy store owner than a happy customer.

I'll go Compacc.com next time.

Steve try Pirelli Angel ST, I got a set on my 14 but its winter here in the the North East so it prevents me from riding so I can't give you an opinion but for $229.00 shipped why not try them!!!!

Steve, what are the stock tires on your concours?Just so no one buys them. Competition is so much cheaper I can buy a set & have them mounted for less than just buying them at the shops. Personally I like the regular PP's never had a problem with them sliding when leaned over & the pp2's center compound is the same as the pp's so no advantage to longevity, but more $ out of pocket.
