Ground cable on PC3
Where are you guys bolting the ground cable that comes off the harness on the PC3. Instructions don't mention where to bolt that down to.
Thanks,
Abe

i made up a 12 gauge wire from the ground on the battery to the over flow. cut the over flow so its only being held up by two bolts and used the third as a dedicated ground for it.

I mounted my pcIII under the seat, and pulled the engine harness across to the clutch side. In doing that, I was able to connect the ground to the negative terminal on the battery. That's the best way to do it imo. It's a PITA but it's the best way.

+1
it's not easy getting it ran unde the seat but well worth every min. If you ever want to change maps it's as easy as taking your seat off!

Or run it up front and just run a usb cable to the back. Makes maps easy too

yep, I had mine in the front left cowling, but recently moved it under the seat. Much better access.

I have the ground under the coolant bottle than I spliced in a wire and ran it accross to the negative post on the frame. I also pur my PC3 and speedo healer under my seat as well worth the trouble.
