which fuel?

what fuel would be best for a stock motor with 60 dry shot? Looking for good performance and motor and insurance on spray. Have a timing retard, but won't use if I don't need. MRX01 isn't widely available around here.

Bought my bike from one of Brocks Performance engineers and this is what he said after they'd done some fuel testing. On a stock motor, for normal street use 89 octane atomizes best - any higher octane fuel is basically pissing money away. But when you start adding performance engine parts and turbo'ing or spraying they recommend higher octane fuels that would help the engine to use the added power. I don't completely understand all aspects of it, but I trust Brocks opinion since making bikes faster IS his living. I don't drag race mine, but the handful of track days I get at my local road course I only run premium pump gas in my slightly modified 14.......every other day of the week, I run 89 like he recommended. If you check out Brocks forum, there's some lengthy thread chat about it all -- very knowledgeable info to be had there for all racers. Sorry i couldn't elaborate much, just trying to help steer you in the right direction.

Ya thast the thing that sucks about all that high octane fuel, but its better to be safe than melt a motor down
