Autotune problem

I have a problem with the autotune of my PCV. It doesnt seem to be taking any readings and once I conected up the lap top (yes the autotune is selected on the software), the AFR figure on the right of the screen is just remaining 0.00, plus all the trims remain 0 aswell which clearly shows that the autotune is not functioning.

The Autotune unit just keeps flashing red continuously with out change. I also tried pressing the button on the front of the autotune unit for 3 seconds as the manuall states in order to check the lampda sensor but nothing happens, the red flash just remains the same.

Any suggestions anyone other than "buy a new one"????

there is a terminator for the can bus that you need to plug into the auto tune. It wont work without it plugged in.

Cheers Roy,

So you are saying there should be 2 termination plugs, 1 on the autotune and 1 on the PCV, Correct??

Still no luck. This evening I'm going to check the wideband sensor on a friends unit to see whether it is the sensor thats gone. I've heard that these sensors can go pretty easily when being used in conjuction with racing fuel!!

I just checked my pcv/autotune out

with the laptop plugged in and bike off , you will see 0.00 on the afr

once the motor is started and battery power is supplied, you will see 9.99 until the sensor warms up , ( 30 seconds ) , then get a corerect reading.

It appears that the pcv is not gettign battery voltage? where is the pcv getting power from ?

Just tried a new wideband sensor and its still doing exactly the same thing, staying on 9.99.

The PCV only has a ground wire otherwise it gets its supply from the wireing harness connectors correct?

but the autotune has a 12v connection to the battery , and that should be a switched connection , or the heater will always be on. are you sure you have 12v going to the autotune ?

Yep, thats connected all as it was before, the ground to ground and the positive comes on with the ignition.

The PCV has 2 lights on it. 1 is the green power light which is working, the other is the red status light.........what is that LED meant to do.....mine is never coming on!
