Nooby , Teddy you didn't miss anything today ..
I left for the track around 7:30 , the heavy rains had stopped and the sun popped out .. That was one a few good thing that happened all day ... The wind was 15 with gusts up to 30+ MPH and was blowing my truck and trailer all over the road .. Let me tell you the top of the sunshine skyway had me pinching my ass hole tigher than a frogs water tight butt .. I hit winds so hard at the top of the bridge i could not stay in my own lane ..
I got to the track and the temps were not to bad 70 to 75 and sunny .. But my god we had a head wind from hell .. Coming from the south south west at a steady 15 MPH and gusting to 30 + at times .. As the day went on the winds got worst , so bad that i came within inches of taking out the 1000 foot and finsh line cones .. Humidity when i left the house was 97% and it didn't get better as the day wore on .. The Density Altitude: 952 feet
Relative Density: 97.24 %, so really not all that bad .. But the winds killed 4 to 5 MPH on my bike .. I run 154 as an avg and today i could not get over 149 and change ... I had a stack of 8.90 runs but could never get in the 8.80s .. The wind was so bad i didn't need my brakes at the end of the track , fact is i had to give it some throttle to get to the return road at the end of the track .. Talk about air brakes !! Tommys zx14 was down 9 to 10 MPH and he was spraying a 40 shot , he was stuck in the low to mid 8.80s.. I think Tommy got one high 8.70 before the winds picked up ....It was a complete waste of money and time .. Only 2 good things was i took out every busa and 1000 i ran .. and i didn't have any brake wear ..

Ya, I noticed that the wind was blowing the wrong way this morning. It was really, really windy at my house too.

Good thing you stayed home .. My 1/8 mile MPH wasn't to bad , 123 to 124 but that wind really killed my back half numbers ..

I would have been pissed if I drove 3 hours for that. It sucks that you ran crappy today.

It rained up here till almost 9:30am. Was windy the rest of the day so I knew it was best that I stayed home. My barometer was the highest I've seen it a couple days ago at 30.35. Yesterday it had fallen hard to about 30.1. Hopefully Wednesday night will be better.
