wheely control and gearing
It seems to me a bike that wheelys is putting more hp or torque to the rear wheel rather that be through gearing or mods and would obviously require more throttle control. thats what they tend to do with one mod or the other this beeing of course with a stock swing arm for the street. whats the point of trying to avoid that without throttle control?A taller gear will help keep the front wheel down but it seems its a trade - less wheel torque for less throttle control? Or would one rather have more rear wheel torque with more throttle control.Correct me if im wrong but isnt that what more hp or gearing for the street is going to create?obviously a radical gear change would be another story. With a small gear change and some mods one finds the front wheel coming up more than stock isnt that a good thing and means more rider control is needed?

I'm not quite sure what your point is but the gearing a rider selects depends on what he uses his bike for.
Personally I would rather exercise some throttle control to make the bike do what I want and not be limited by gearing choice or lack of power.

I don't know what your getting at either, but I don't understand why your maing a big deal about gearing for everyday riding. What's wrong with stock gearing? If you want a little more, drop 1 tooth in the front and be done.

My point is that many have said that they dont like the front wheel pulling up to fast or high and thats what hp or gears will do so they gear to control that issue.anytime the wheel wants to come up then you are putting down hp through gears mods or both.i think this is a good thing and just means that you need to learn throttle control.Im not making a big deal out of anything and I dont do everyday riding.

Quite right zx14fan, throttle control is the answer. People who want to go everywhere with it wide open ride scooters.
