zx14 tie down
I am transporting my bike on open trailer - in the front i need to know where is the good point to put straps and should i remove the plastic.
also what's best route to Arizona/california from CT/NY I want to avoid snow and ice as much as possible.

Canyon dancers are what I use . I have also gone under the fairing then over the frame with one tie down

Every bike shop i have ever been to has them in stock i would not do it any other way than with one of them

Run a strap over the lower tree on both sides.

We use ratchet tie down straps. Similar to your Canyon Dancers but you can ratchet down to compress the front forks. Not had a bike move yet.

can i make a loop out of soft strap - basically thats what this canyon dancers are and they charge you 30 bucks for it.

I'm sure you could but would you risk thousands of dollars worth of bike to save a few bucks?

Bike chock (Harbor Frieght has a nice, cheap alternative that works very well. It will aleviate any tie down issues you are going to have with the front end.

I wouldn't try and make a canyon dancer... There has to be a shop somewhere near you that has them in stock. If not ask if you can buy one of theirs. I couldn't live without mine!

condor in the trailer, canyon dancer 2 with the hard cups so you dont mess up your grips, and soft straps in the back with E-track flooring in the trailer. works out very well, never had an issue

what kind? This is my set up and only use three straps and it's solid as can be. Have towed this bike all over the place with zero issues like this. The two rear straps go around the swing-arm and tie off at the eyebolt in the rear of the trailer (not installed in this pic).

my chock is not that secure but today i have installed few eyebolt anchor points by reese however after installing I read the instructions and it said "do not use rachet tie down" ..... did you ever have any issue with these $3 eyebolt anchors.

Depends on what size they are. I would get the biggest ones they had. I have all flushmount brackets in my trailer except one bc they didn't have enough at the time and it's a eyebolt and i've tied a bunch of stuff to it and it's never went anywhere

I wouldn't want the whole weight of the bike rocking side to side just supported by the chocked front wheel like that. Shouldn't you use some tie downs from the bars too?
