Front Axle Allen Size

What size Allen takes the front axle nut off?

It is the hex end of a 13/16 Craftsman spark plug socket with an extention from the other end....

I got mine from cycle gear. It was spendy though. Something like $18..... What a ripoff.

Any kawi shop will have that socket made for the front axle.I had the same prob.

Got mine from a guy on ebay for 2.95 plus a few bucks for shipping. He makes them I guess and you just throw a big adjustable wrench on it to loosen and tighten and it works great and you can't beat the price.

The front axle is 25 mm (o. d.), the Allen size that just fits in
can't be 19 mm.

There's your wrench back

I just used a bolt , cant remember the size , with the nut welded on , then a breaker bar on that.

WHAT cant belive it 13/16 plug socket, so does a impact socket for axel boltes, flap wheel polished mine to fit tight, 1/2 drive snap's in , the inside of the socket, nice hand hold for screwing it in and out , looks like a specialty tool, makes on looker's ask question's

The spark plug socket works. I just took one front rotor off last week.

Def +25 on the craftsman sparkplug socket. $5 at sears, works and fits perfectly. Just pull the rubber piece out and use an extension

just buy a bolt that fits in there and weld a couple nuts on the end like douglas did.. that is easy and cheap.. Thats what I did...
