my two cents for the Flame

I run a Muzzy M14. Now that that's out of the way I want to PILE ON! A buddy of mine got an 09 not long ago. I asked what mods he had done he said a pipe and pcv.when I ask him the obvious next question of what pipe I was shocked when he said a Yoshimura. Its a suzuki thing period! Muzzy is kawasaki thing period! Brocks is an addmitted suzuki convert period! I stiil haven't found a way to tell my buddy what he did was damn clise to buying a hahahahonda. Hate to jump on a fellow boarder Flame.

I didn't buy a brocks or muzzy bc it's a "kawi" thing. I bought it bc of a great product that makes hp with good customer service.

+1
All you gotta do is tell your buddy that he sabotaged his bike up by putting on that yosh cause yosh is the competitions pipe maker and they designed the pipe the best for their bikes and just threw something out there for the rest

Why yes that is a yosh I custom made for my CB1123 super F .
Now see that's a perfect example of a pipe that belongs on its make. Yosh goes with Hondas
I couldn't be without her even though she is broken. I'd miss not seeing her everyday

Lee, Pops Yosh was a Honda man for years then a Kawasaki.Wes cooley etc. then

Suzuki. As I said Yosh has the talent to build HP on any engine. Time and $$$

Back in 83 I had a Kaz.........Ontario Motor Tech with the pickle fork in the collector. Remember them?
They were Road racing the CB1100F back then.

Had a vance&Hines on a 1980GS1100E that 1/4 miled better than my Honda but the Honda

had better top end. I threw away the stock Homda clutch pac it had that cusion shit on the first fiber disc.sucked. Made it hard to launch. I aslo was not a fan of two cam chains on the CB1100F. But I still miss it.

There's a guy on the CB1100f site that has an OMT engine in his bike and rides it regular. Talkk about unobtanium!
The hondas we're decent dragbikes but kaw and suz were bulletproof and didn't suffer the dreaded #3 rod bearing failure the hondas were notorious for .
Not to mention there's 0 parts sources for the hondas while the kz's and gs's thrive with all kinds of parts.
Honda had a weak clutch that made big hp impossible to use , and even though it was a 4 valve engine it breathed like a 2 valve caus of the piss poor
Head design that at high rpms would pretty much cancel out the outer valves of each cylinder.
So revving the honda sky high didn nothing but kill parts cause power stops being made on the honda at
about 10k. So the trick was to build the motor so it made all its power
low and short shift it at the strip.

If only honda kept up with their big 4 they would have had something awesome today!
I love my CB1123 super f though and soon it will be on the road but with a low rev limit so I don't kill anymore rod bearing or cranks lol!

If you get a Brocks exhaust you can buy the PowerCommander from them also and it will come with a map already loaded in it. They will load a map in it for the flies out also. I would also recommend get a BMC airfilter also.

it takes all of 30 seconds to load a map onto the pc....

I did a very lengthy exhaust review a while ago..... My favorite has been the orient express for street riding, and brocks for the track.
