1/8 mile
Were i run we only have 1/8 mile track,I have run a best of 6.46 at 117 with a 1.72 sixty. My bike is stock with a Brock pipe,PC3, lowering lins with strap,i weight 205.I am wondering what the times equate to in 1/4 mile times?I am thinking of trying extensions next year maybe 4 to 6 inches, and wondering what kind of gains i can expect with these?

I need your 330 ft time. You can be anywhere in the 9.85-10.09 range.

before you go stretchin it out...learn to ride it short and get your launch skills sorted out. You'll be a lot quicker when you DO extend it. You should be seeing 1.5s 60' times when you are getting with it at your weight. .02

+1. I made sure that i put my bike into the 1.5's before i even added a pipe and it made life a lot easier in the long run. Also, don't change things up all the time. JesseJames should be able to tell you how hard it is to get consistent if you change your ime your set up every time you get bored lol.

Not to be the only one different, but I think launching swb and stretched are 2 totally different ballgames.
If your going to stretch it, go ahead and do it. Yes, technique is the same, but different at the same time. Stretched you can raise your launching rpm and you can release the clutch a lot faster.
And as for mods, my $.02 worth I would go ahead and do whatever mods you are going to do, because trying to launch a bike with less hp isn't nearly as easy as launching a bike with the pipe, pc, etc already on it. It will want to bog a lot more off the line stock.
That's just my opinion if it amounts to anything..
