Well I know an oil cooler off of an 08 Busa can weigh 23 lbs when filled. If I ever run a bike stock wheelbase again I might just try it.

Hmmm, I wouldn't think it weighs THAT much to begin with to be worried with weight savings, right?

I believe he said the 23lbs came from it being filled with lead.

Starchild- I would at least check out Shane661 thread/posts, he has removed soooo much stuff from his bike(the most I've seen).
My bike runs a tad bit warm now, I would'nt dare do this mod to my ride. If you are successful with the change, most here would probably be intrigued so post you findings/opinions please.

I believe that Ninjaboy311 has his cooler bypassed; mine is still on the bike.
