Carrozzeria's Installed!!

Had a few days off from work so I started the winter "to do" list for the 14. So it was out for the stock cast red wheels and in with the black Carrozeria's and Pirelli Angels. Still gotta do those flies!

Thanks Bently, I live in the North East and we only got about 5-6 inches of snow. Looks like you got hammered with snow! What State is that?

Love the wheels. I want to replace my stockers, but can't afford it just yet. Going to get the stock powder coated black in the Spring.

Love the Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen too. I have one and love it.

You should get the "Foreman Grills" replaced with the smooth red or white ones. There is a place that sells the smooth ones color match painted for $135. I can't remember the name, but can post later if anybody wants.

Everytime I see a picture with the ZX10 front fender mod it gets me thinking about doing it to mine too. You're making me want those brake lines I have been been holding out on as well.

Flies are one of the first thing I do when I get ine out of storage this Spring.

Didn't weigh them but supposidly it is a 10 pound weight difference over stock. They definitely felt lighter than then the stockers! Bawls you don't want those heavy stock rims, they will just slow you down at the drags!! I thought about doing the smooth white forman grills but I went with the Bestem CF....I like the look of CF! I'm going to take off the ZG touring windshield and try a lower one. All the wind seems to hit me right in the helmet causing wind turbulence at highway speeds. Still gotta do my flies also.

It looks like that front weight weighs more than the wheels themselves... the bike looks great! My wife made me give up my heated garage for the bike this year. She got sick of scraping the windows off her car in the morning. Women's priorities... There is a lot of room in the dining room... hmmmm

z g sport touring screen

I am suprised to here the wind blast is hitting you about mid helment with that screen, because that's where I get hit with zero gravity db. Are you over 6'2" by chance?

Yes I am 6'3" so thats why the wind hits me directly in the helmet. Super the tires are Pirelli Angel ST sport touring. Its a 190/50-17 rear. ZXBOB I thought the stock front spacers which were used with the Carrozzeria's was a little strange since its just sitting spacer lip to bearing lip on the front. Thoughts

Did you have to use a ZX12 rear sprocket for the rear wheel(I read somewhere that this was the case)?

Thanks for the compliments guys, Super that is a new ZX-12 rear sprocket, I was lucky enough to find a new steel one in Black which looks great . The pegs are Competiton Werkes GP pegs and they are actually a little lower than the stockers. Very comfortable. I have Sato rearsets but I have not installed them yet. Thats next...........when it warms up a little!!!

Steve I'm embarrassed to say I have had the Sato's in my sitting in my garage for about a year now. I guess I was just comfortable with the stock setup......

yes +1 on those tires very interesting tread pattern. When I get the second bike to add to the stable, I will consider those. They would look nice on a new VFR with a single sided swingarm. AAAHHHH i want for christmas.......prob not gonna happen.
