Rotors
Getting a bad pulsating with front brake. Should I replace the rotors w/stock or go aftermarket? Best price on aftermarket rotors? Is it usually both rotors that warp? Haven't had time to check if it's both.

You may not need new rotors? How many miles? We had a problem on Rickey's SS bike at the Atlanta race with the front rotors...we thought they were warped. Dirt got into the buttons on the rotor pushing it to one side, making the front wheel not spin very easily. Cleaned them out with Brake Cleaner and compressed air...fixed the problem for the weekend. If you want new rotors call Brock's and as about the ABM rotors they have. The full floaters are bad ass. About 2.5lbs reduction if I remember correctly. They do make a little noise at low speeds; get semi floaters if noise is a problem. They are worth every penny. ABM is the ONLY aftermarket rotors I would put on a bike. JMO I believe Brock still has 1 set of stock rotors if you are interested in that route.

Ya, every I have not personally seen any Galfer rotors out there that are FULL floaters...I am sure they are out there but I have not seen them. In my opinion if you do not get the full floaters just replace them with stock. But again JMO

Don't know about the 2.5lbs of weight savings. When I was shopping for rotors
and comparing weights it seemed like I had to dish upward of $1K for rotors to even get
1 lbs. of savings. Keep in mind that the 14 oem rotors are some of the lightest oem ever-
they are around 1 lbs. lighter that the set on my 08 gsxr 750.

I checked into ABM front rotors. The weight that I was quoted (from ABM) was equal to or heavier than stock. I know that the standard Galfers are also heavier than stock.
The Kawasaki oem parts are significantly lighter than the Suzuki parts.
I have personally found the oem to work well, even stopping the bike from 211 mph on a single rotor. But for the street, ymmv.

There are a couple of pages in Shane's build thread that have rotors weight measurements
and general rotors discussion.

Sorry guys I was basing the weights off of the GSXR 1000 SS Bike shine won with last year. I personally did not change the rotors on the 14. I stand corrected

Acat- I put Galfers on my 06 a month ago and I love them! There's a link to a web site that have them discounted for $470 on the thread "Ping Superman T". Before I purchased my Galfers, I shopped around and conduct multiple price comparisons. I called the dealer to price stock rotors..$780.
In addition, I chose to go with new stock brake pads(even though my current pads were not depleted) because I felt that the warping of my rotors had consequently unevenly wear on the pads. I did not want to take a chance in scaring my new rotors, maybe not neccessary but I did it.
