went to the track today...

The air was cold and damp, DA was showing to be about 2400 ft (best i've ever seen it there). It was an NHRA event so i was only able to get 5 runs in 8 hours and the track was hooking so hard that i had a hell of a time figuring out where to launch from. I started out at 5k and worked my way up until i figured out that i had to launch at 7k lol. I kept running 6.15-6.22ish until my last run where i finally lined up against my buddy wayne on a built 03 GSXR1k for top honors of our own little grudge bracket.

Here was the result...

60ft---------- 1.423
330ft--------- 3.893
330 mph--- 91.588
1/8----------- 5.971
1/8 mph---- 118.320

now if i could just figure out how to ride like that everytime :P. I guess all in all it was a great day because i finally got my 5 .

Congrats on the milestone!

Now come back to Texas and pick on Wheelie, TNT, and me ........... your best shot of beating someone, of course, being me.

I am in the middle of stretching mine, so I have to learn to ride all over again also.

i found out that i'm one of 3 actual street bikes to go into the 5's there. The first was Russ collins Jr. on his turbo busa, Second was Wayne fletcher on the 1000 that i was racing, and 3rd was me . I guess it's not that easy to run 5's at our track lol.
