Olympia, WA Toy Run
Washington State hosted the annual toys for tots toy run in Olympia,Washington today with easily 10's of thousands of bikes of all types although mostly Harley's. The weather we're famous for (rain) wasn't shitty so MANY bikes showed up from even 2-3 states away. A short ride through town converging on the state capital snarled traffic for several hours. A semi truck waited to recieve toys from all the bikers. I've ridden this several times and took advantage of police tolerance of LOUD bikes by removing the baffle and making all kinds of window rattling noise. great fun! Many use this opportunity to a silent protest (silent?) of the anti-helmet laws we have by riding free without it briefly. If I would just read the posting pics for dumbasses a pic would be in order. The main theme is toys for kids with leather clad Santa bringing them in style. Great Idea!
