Still asking for advice about california smog

Thanks for the help with the block off plates.Im still having trouble understanding what to do with the can under the seat? My question is this. One hose runs from the can under the seat to a small plastic tube then splits up to the back of the gas tank.can these be removed and if so what keeps the gas from running out? The other question I have is the other two lines coming from the can under the seat go to the throttle bodys can these just be plugged?? Any help on the subject would be appreciated thanks.

This is not exactly what you want for an answer, but it will get you your answer. Look in the archives between page 1 and 137. There is a good breakdown on a cali tank vs lower states version.wish I could remember which page it was 4 you brother. Damn I just owned that I am reading my way through the archives in my quest for knowlege on the 14.
