650 exchange. I found some cheaper other places and on ebay,but then you have to figgure in shipping to you and to get the chrome ones to you is close to a hundred bucks too. Then if there is a problem there is more shipping involved.the big plus on my deal was I got to look them over in person before buying them. Plus they are lifetime chrome warnanty. Most have little or no warbanty if you read the fine print.do your homework on them before you buy them.

personally i like the dull flat black evil look on the special edition instead of shiny polished, but i ain't sayin that ain't a badazz lookin bike cause it is. clean setup and looks sharp!
yeah youngninjadude, get you some gear dude, if, and i say if cause i hope you don't, but if you do eat it, you'll be layin on that pavement bleeding and kickin your own ass at the same time for at least not having some boots and a jacket and gloves. P.S. How do you see w/out mirrors, that would bug the hell out of me???

+1 !!!! bike... $$$ grand.....skin..priceless. A bike that does 150+ mph easily slides for a looooooong ways too bro.

I always wear my helmet even though its not a law here in Texas and usually a riding jacket and sometimes gloves but i was just going out for a quick ride. And i'm not a fan of bundling up in riding gear when its 90 degrees outside... and the mirror block offs were only on for one day, riding without mirrors is extremely annoying and dangerous so they will be for track use only!

I am thinking about getting it and getting it all ceramic coated black, i think it would look pretty sweet and cool the leg heat down a little. Hows the baffles work and how many do you use?

That would look nice. Its LOUD. There is a baffle in it but its a joke. I wear earplugs all the time. I like the sound of it though.

Hey Mass I could barely afford chrome n new skins at once. I don't have that bst budget thing going on with my 14,just don't mention that word about the dart cause I kinda got carried away on that project.

I actually like the red wheels on the 08 SE, I think the swingarm and the red lowers make it too much... well too much red. This is also the only bike I've seen on the forums with all polished away flat black fairings.

Shakdiesel I was asking because I have a family friend stationed in jax.that would have heen kind of neat if you guys were stationed at the same base. Still good to see you here.lots of good dudes here with helpfull info.

Don't sit back to long soaking it in or the bikeland police will notice and call you out for lurking,and not contributing. I don't know how they know,but THEY KNOW!!! I was the same way at 1st.then you begin to build friends here and realize its a great place.
