MUZZYS
Just a quick question - comment?
Why would Muzzys not have a booth or even show up to an AMA drag racing event? Just wondering but when I asked someone at the track last weekend they laughed and said "I doubt Muzzys will be here they never are". I like Muzzy products but I find it weird when Brock is walking around talking to everybody and doing the PR thing and Muzzys has no visibilty. Are they hurting as a company? Maybe they switched to road racing......LOL. Any particular reason that I am unaware of?

Bad PR,Bad economic times,no money for a booth, sales are down...
Maybe one of these reasons or none? Who knows?
Brock is SMART,when the economy is down , you got to advertise more then ever to try to sell your product.

just cause the economy is down doesn't mean you should cut your advertising/pr.

When the economy is bad, advertising is the #1 most important job I would think.. ESPECIALLY when your suppose to be the "best pipe for racers". Its showing at the track. Looks how many more of Brocks pipes are out there now vs Muzzy. I talked to the guys at brock for a while sunday and you just flat out can't meet a better down to earth group of guys!! I have never had a problem with muzzy products, but my money would go to brocks anyday before muzzy.

They need to have an east coast rep PERIOD!!!!! That is where drag racing is, that is where they should be if they claim to be a drag racing company!!!!!

I don't recall adams having a tent set up at ama. If they did they didn't have much displayed. In a few years it will show, just wait and see where muzzy stands vs brock and all other companies. Just because they have been around for a long time dosent mean they own the industry.

I am sponsored by Schnitz, but did you see them at the race?? Nope. Economy has alot of businesses in a crunch. It would be hard for Muzzy to come from Oregon for every AMA race, but I agree they should have another vendor there to show off their products and for customer support.
The Manufacturers Midway is getting smaller every year, but the major sponsors still continue to support...Brocks, MPS, Orient Express, PR Factory Store, Fish's Customs, Spencers Cycles, Star Racing, etc.
