Cool Cop...
I got pulled over yesterday in downtown Phoenix for taking off too quick from a light.
The cop asked why I took off so fast off the light? I told him I really wasnt trying to SIR.
He asked for my license and reg and proof of ins. As I gave it to him I showed him my Application for my NHRA license that I just sent in and I dont race on the street, I take it to the track.
He asked why I was nervous and I told him that I hadnt had a ticket in over 7 years...
He went and ran my record and came right back,handed me my papers and just told me to slow down!
Thats a Cool Cop, most are not and will give you a ticket no matter what. My ex-wife got a ticket yesterday with our kids in the car and she was pissed that I got out of one again...
How do you do it she asked? Yes SIR,No SIR answers allways to a COP, It works!!!
Treat them with respect and they will show you the same... : )

I am with you on that! Up here the cops are pretty cool. I got pulled over one time and the guy just wanted to look at my bike! I have gotten off way more times then ticketed and I attribute that to the respect I give them. In the small town that I am from they are especially cool. They wave at you while passing!

Like to see you try that here ...lol... You could offer a blow job from your wife , 500 cash and an once of coke and still get a ticket here ...That is if you are on a sports bike ...If you are on a HD you can be drunk and have two ponds of pot and get off ..

I said sir and gave them a CCS race license, my advanced MSF safety card, and a FL license. It ended with a verbal warning and a "welcome to TN"

I've been to 4 anti corruption agencies against them so im stuffed forever !!!
By the way I wouldnt recomend trying to nail a cop for anything unless you are a masocist, have heaps of money , a few years to rot at the govenors pleasure and life insurance!

I learned this as a young man...One time I got off my bike in Florida and started giving the cop shit,then he tells me he just wanted to see my bike... but now because your an asshole Im going to give you a ticket for a loud exaust!
It was an after market Bassani on my 81' KZ,but what can you do but...NO SIR! YES SIR!

I didn't get so lucky.
I did all the Yes sir and No Sir's and still got nailed with criminal speeding. 100 in a 45 on some backwoods country road hundreds of miles from noplace.
The town where I had to go for my court hearing had zero cellular service, thats how small they were.
I figure with towing, bonding to get out of jail, lawyer and fines I'm up to 3,500.00.

IN CANADA IT SEEMS ITS ABOUT THE REVENUE MORE THAN ANYTHING.
NO MERCY, GIVE US YOUR MONEY.

Our 4 lane interstate type highways are still limited to 70MPH..... WHY?
Canada needs seasonal speed limits, and REALLY needs to enforce slow drivers in the right lane.... but that would be about safety, not revenue, and they would have to drive the highways, rather than trap people to catch them.
They hired a pile of security guards, and squad cars, and have a special hichway patrol sector, I beleive its grown over 120 members in Alberta alone in the last 3 years....
They must be making alot of money.

LMFAO, come to california. The speed limit is 65 and they regularly have a cessna flying up and down the freeways patrolling. However, most of the CHP officers won't even start to fuck with you unless you're doing over 80.

Arizona has the highest speedlimit on the interstate,75 mph. But if you 11 mph over the cops can charge you with CRIMINAL SPEEDING!!!
20 MPH in a residential zone is CRIMINAL as well.
Our big problem here in AZ is Photo Radar,they have it EVERYWHERE!
But by the law,they have to serve you in PERSON,so when they mail it to you its NOT VALID. And if you where full gear,which I do,they CANT PROVE in a court of law that it was you driving the bike. With photo radar they take a picture if your face and plate,and if you have full gear with sunglasses they CAN NOT convict you in a court of LAW. I BEAT several of those tickets.
Its all about $$$,which the state has lost sooo much reveue with homes and cars NOT selling.
Anything to make the mighty dollar.
SO BE VERY CAREFULL IF YOU COME HERE TO ARIZONA.
They have the i-10,101,rt.60 and photo radar vans scattered throughout the state!!!$$$!!!

That sounds identical to washington in every way. Your comment about enforcing the right lane enhancing safety is so correct as well.
I hire a lawyer for every ticket i get, and 95% of them get dropped. If everyone took every ticket to court the whole stinking money grab would come crashing down around them. It would not be feasible to keep operating in the dragnet style the state patrol currently uses. Even if you lose and have to pay the fine the system still loses money on you. They are absolutely counting on you grabbing your ankles and taking it.
So please everyone take every ticket you ever get to court. Implore all your friends and loved ones to do the same. We have the power to end revenue based law enforcement, but it's going to take everyone to do it.

No shit,Texas 80mph. I remember when Montana had no limit.We used to go up there and play on their Autobahn often. But they lost their federal funding for their hiways,so they put the speed limits back on.
I live on a stretch of road that has nothing for 10.5 miles....MY AUTOBAHN!! NO COPS,NO PHOTO RADAR!! 2 lanes in either direction and its fairly straight all the way. I can run wide open through the whole thing,you just got to watch for others driving 55.Hardly any traffic, maybe 5 cars on the stretch at a time!!...LOL
