first trip to the track with the stretch...

well, i realized that I'm a little rusty and that it's not as easy to jump on a long bike and fast as it looks. I still had a pretty decent day all in all because i was the fastest bike there. Here's my best numbers.

Best run was as follows.

1.50 60ft
3.99 330ft
6.08 @ 118 mph

I ran a lot of 6.10, 6.11, 6.12's as well as a grip of 6.20-6.28's. at anywhere from 115-119. The DA started out at 3,000 got up to 3,600 and back down to 3,400 before the end of the day. Good air for that track, but not good air by any means. My best 60ft was a 1.48, but when i shifted to second it grabbed really hard then broke the tire loose and tried to spin sideways causing me to have to get out of it for a

1.48 60ft
4.05 330ft
6.30 @ 118 mph

I can't complain since i haven't been to the track in 7 months now. More times soon. Look out 5's here I come

Hell ya thats good man, alot of people dont understand how much slower the bikes are in in the clouds lol.
i also got my new best last night at 6000' DA here in ABQ New Mexico i finally slammed my bike and its at 63'' i went 9.75@139 the, the 8th was a 6.22@113 this was done with a 1.52 60' the clutch was not holding a very hard launch, im sure it would have went in to the 9.6x range with a 1.4 60' or so.

I'm not going to be up there... I'd have to ride my bike there with 16/46 gearing pay 100 bucks for maybe 5 runs and then ride home at the end of the day. It's just really not worth it right now. My next race will be barona on the 28th.

Oh yeah... I also don't have my NHRA license yet and I've got a sneaking suspicion that i'll break out of the 10's lol

why you gotta make fun of me for dry hopping? My feelings are hurt lol. The track would be a lot cooler if it was faster. Something about desert mountains and drag racing just don't go together lol.

After your burnout you roll up a little and do a pratice launch. I do them most of the time. Wheelies just so old he's got so many passes under his belt he would never need to do something like that! :P
