Brocks Customer Service

Ok let me start off by saying if your in the market for an exhaust and plan on spending $1000 for an exhaust (average price for a full system now a days) please READ this first!!

Well it all started at the end of summer I noticed these small rust looking circles showing up on my elbow of my pipe. I couldnt feel these blemishes but the more i rode my 14 the more of these spots showed up, and further started showing up on the the can itself. Approximately 2 wks ago I emailed Brock and attached photos of what appeared to be rust on my stainless shortmeg can and elbow. He relpied within a couple of hours (10:30pm) not too many companys will reply that quickly and at those hours. Brock stated to send to a polisher to restore the luster back to the pipe and elbow. So in the mean time trying to find a polisher here i was at my dealer and they had some s100 polish. I tried polishing it myself, it worked great pipe looked nearly brand new again but you could vaugly see the spots. In the meantime EJ was emailing me about this matter also, both trying to see what caused this. Next day i get a phone call from EJ telliing me they are emailing me a shipping label to send the can baffle and elbow in so they can inspect it and fix or send me a new one. Needlesss to say to make this story short and too the point... EJ called me and sayed they are sending me a new elbow repacking my baffle, and a used can that looks new. Sure enough got it in the mail looks like a new system. I thank you Brock and EJ for your great customer service, In these times we have not too many companies would be so eager to help their customers, they have my business and always will, so think twice next time you buy and who you buy an exhaust from!
Heres some photos of what it looked like and the new system. and keep in mind all i spent was a few miniutes of my time!!

So did you figure out what was dripping on the pipe? Brake fluid maybe? They just don't get rust spots like that for no reason.

That was the same thing EJ asked, i looked and there was nothing leaking and never was on the bike, It looked like rust but like EJ said stainless doesnt rust just looses its luster. Like i said polishing took alot of it out but was still faintly there. I dont know what caused it...I have the same pipe on my wifes gixxer 1000 and it looks great. Clean both bikes the same and even put a pipe plug in when their being washed. They also repacked the baffle!

This is just one of many stories that have been repeated by those of us who are Brock's Customers For Life! In this day and time customer service is unheard of at most companies. Brock's orginization has customer service that is second to none and I would spend my money with him based on that alone.
