Yeah...Bad Max is not the one making track day claims, some of the other guys are talking that stuff.

I read about a guy in the UK that did a chain drive conversion to a old Vmax.

Seemed like a wate to me but to each his own.

Actually a chain drive is one of the best mods for the older Max, performance-wise. The fastest Max in the world is a chain drive Gen1 at over 200 mph.

I'm very happy with the VMax. Others have commented they have a hard time keeping up when I nail it. The busa riders have given up that I run with cause my bike goes faster with each mod I make. Of course I don't run past 170mph cause there isn't enough road to maintain that speed here and sooner than later the busa guys will eventually catch up and pass me. The other guys try real hard and WOT it and lay down on their gas tank to reduce wind resistance and it's funny when they see me ride past them when I accelerate by them.

Even if this is a cruiser by definition, it's not one to take lightly.

I figure that my bike is as fast as I want it, and it's a blast to run with the sport bike guys and surprize them.

However I will say this 240 has it limits when riding the twisties at high speed, and that's where the sport bike guys blow past me.

But after we break and stop, the sportbike guys/gals gather around and ask to sit on it and take their pics on their cell phones. It's really fun to ride the VMax!

I love the very last part too that Shane cut out of his earlier post. I put it in bold at the bottom of the quote. HAHA

Ha! Whatever! Bad_Max remains "unbeaten on these streets"! You're just another pretender to the throne!

So now the official word is that it was a ZX-12R that he beat. Although, curiously, I can find no mention of it on Bikeland?

I have a 12R for him, but he's not going to like the results.

I'm going to bike night at QSL Weds night , Bad_Max should be there and i'll ask him about this zx12 beat down ..

I only know of one zx12 around these parts , he mostly street races but from time to time he comes to the track and runs .. He runs 9.20s at the track but i have seen him race on the street and the man can ride... If he raced Bad_Max he would have killed him with ease... Come on, a low 9 second zx12 Vs Bad _Maxs best of a 10.70s..

Seriously. Are these guys borderline retarded? I mean its like a bunch of kids talking about how their purple hotwheel is faster than any green one. EVERYone knows that! Jeez, it's like they are about a quarter chromosome away. At first I just kinda chuckle, but after awhile it's just hard to take such stupidity.
