A question for you drag race junkies, MPH

I'm not sure that my bike is making good mph. Here is my best mph this season:

Probably would have been better, but I was running diesel fuel and naturally aspirated. I'm also 222 lbs. suited.

Shane

PS. I also filled my tires with water...do you think that can affect mph?

By the looks of that ticket you must have been on yet another slow azz ZX-14. My busa runs way faster then that bone stock. The water in your tires is probably slowing you down but the bigger problem is the fact that you own a slow bike.

One tip for making you go faster is to eat several bean burrito's at T-Bell an hour before you race. Not sure why but I always get a few extra MPH that way.

Thanks Rich. I could see the water in the tires affecting my 60', but I didn't think it would affect my mph on the big end. I guess you learn something new every day.

Also, thanks for the Taco Bell tip...normally I eat 3 or 4 full racks of ribs, and drink a case of malt liqour before I go to the track. I've noticed it makes my leathers fit more snugly, helping aeros.

Shane do what i did , I traded my old slow zx14 in on a new Vmax ...I got a hell of a deal 21,094.00 OTD ... My Vmax just ran 221 MPH and i did it in less than a 1/2 mile !! My speedo may be off a bit because it felt like at least 251 ... I'm pretty sure i will have no problems running 7.90s @ 181 in the 1/4 mile , others have done it and i weight less than them ..There is no downside to the this bike , even MPG was 87 in town and 100 on the highway ... Oh yea !!! One more big plus is it will out handle any sport bike on the market ...
Shane don't tell anyone , keeps this under your hat please ... Remove the seat and you will find an accujack for those nights when nobody is around .. You know what i mean ...

Thanks for that tip, Lee. When I get my 'Max, I'm calling you out. And bring cash, because, in the words of Bad Max, "I don't play"!
